  Explanation of Name and Location

The cave opens in steep slope near village Breg nad Polubrdom (officially Golo brdo) on westrn border of the Brda region.

There is wrong name Volnica for the slope, on temeljni topografski načrt (scale 1:5000) and other maps. The slope is named Alniica by local people.
