Travertine waterfall with the hair
Only 10 m above mouth of
the waterfall of Venus
lies a spring, which deposits travertine.
In the travertine waterfall grows ony one cluster of
Venus' hair fern (Adiantum veneris-capillus L.).
It is the highest known growing site of
this Atlantic - Mediteraneus fern in Slovenija,
aproximately 500 m above sea level.
