This branch was formed on various Cretaceous limestones and flysch of the same age above them.
It is characterized by constant water, even during droughts the flow is quite significant.
This one also merges from two branches just above the Waterfall of Simon.
The right one originates on the Planina Kuhnja pasture, while the left one originates 1460 m above sea level below
the Kožljek Mt.
Below the Vrsno-Krn road, they carving evorsion channels with numerous waterfalls.
